Come Play Match Play and Support the Junior Ladies Team

You won't see this every day. Play suspended until penguins finish crossing. Or, perhaps they showed up to watch the game. Easier for them to watch a match than to fish and avoid seas lion attacks. Maybe they thought if they showed up for the game they might score a hot cup of coffee and some timbits!

Here's a new idea happening at the BRCC. It's Match Play. Awesome idea! The junior Ladies team of Hailey Horton, Tamarra Behnke, Julia Horton and Carlie Geoffroy are looking to raise funds for their curling initiatives this year and this is one of the ideas they have come up with.

You can sign your team up at the BRCC..there is a sign up sheet on the board just as you walk into the club, or call Hailey and / or Lisa Horton @ 705-356-2806. It is only $40.00 per team. You have to get your games played within a certain amount of time (just like golf). It's sudden death, so once you lose a game, you're out.

This is an "open" format. It can be Mens, Ladies or Mixed teams.  This is a great little side tournament and it will help out our junior ladies. The winning team will receive club jackets sporting the BRCC logo.
